Mission

CMBible is a ministry to ministries.  Like any good follower of Jesus, CMBible desires for the Kingdom of God to grow and mature.  This means having strong leaders and volunteers.  Strong teachers make true disciples.

Sadly, many ministries don’t have the time or lack the resources necessary to properly train and equip their volunteers.  This often leaves volunteers feeling unequipped, stressed out, under qualified, and unappreciated.

With proper training, your leaders and volunteers will not only be equipped, but have confidence, and know they are appreciated.  They will become less stressed, and look forward to serving while encouraging others to serve alongside them. And most importantly, make disciples!  This is CMBible’s mission:

To partner with pastors and ministry leaders to help better equip their volunteers.  “…for the work of service that builds the body of the Messiah.” (Ephesians 4:12)

Founder

CMBible was founded by Jeremy Spicer.  Jeremy has over 25 years experience in both the ministry and public sector.  With a medical, technology, teaching, and ministry background; Jeremy’s insight and experience allows him to support and equip your ministry.  His teaching style is flexible and adjusts to meet individual needs.

Expenses

Let’s face it, running a ministry costs money.  Training volunteers can get expensive.  It’s just the reality of life. For that reason, CMBible’s goal is to keep costs as low as possible.

Our ministry’s heart is to see the Kingdom of God mature and multiply. We never want money to get in the way of equipping leaders and volunteers.  So what does that mean?

  • If the money isn’t there, don’t worry about it.  We only ask you to pay what you are able. (1 Corinthians 9:12)
  • If you are able to go above and beyond, we greatly appreciate it! (Exodus 25:2)

If your ministry doesn’t have the funds to cover training, don’t let that stop you. Cover what you are able, and CMBible’s supporters will cover the rest. With that said, if you are in a position to be generous, we appreciate it, as this helps cover expenses for others.

Some Helpful Ways to Keep Expenses Down

A great way to help keep expenses down is to spread cost over multiple budgets. For example…

  • Include other ministry departments such as ushers, youth, and admin.
  • Encourage neighboring churches and other ministries to join in the training and help share the cost.
  • Open training up to include your surrounding community as an outreach.

These are great ways to help share expenses. CMBible is even flexible with lodging and encourages old fashion hospitality.
